Milo ("we," "our," or "us") is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and safeguard your information when you use the Milo mobile application ("the App"). Please read this policy carefully. By using Milo, you agree to the practices described below.
Data We Collect
We collect the following types of information:
Information Stored Locally on Your Device
- Craving logs — timestamps, trigger types, and intensity ratings you record in the App
- Profile information — your quit date, nicotine type, and daily usage amount
This data is stored entirely on your device and is not transmitted to our servers.
Analytics Data
- Usage analytics — screen views, feature usage, and session data collected via PostHog. This data is anonymized and cannot be used to identify you personally.
- Device information — OS version and device model, collected for crash reporting and app stability purposes.
Purchase Data
- Subscription and purchase data — subscription status and transaction IDs, managed and processed by RevenueCat. We do not directly store your payment information.
How We Use Your Data
- Craving logs and profile information are used solely to provide personalized quit tracking and progress insights within the App.
- Analytics data helps us understand how features are used so we can improve the App experience for everyone.
- Purchase data is used to manage your subscription and restore purchases across devices.
Third-Party Services
We use the following third-party services:

We do not sell your data to third parties.
Data Retention & Deletion
- Local data (craving logs, profile information) can be deleted at any time by uninstalling the App or using the in-app data deletion option.
- Analytics data is retained for 12 months, after which it is automatically deleted.
- You can request deletion of any data associated with you by contacting us at support@miloapp.com.
Your Rights (GDPR/CCPA)
Depending on your location, you may have the following rights regarding your personal data:
- Right to access — request a copy of the personal data we hold about you.
- Right to correction — request that we correct any inaccurate personal data.
- Right to deletion — request that we delete your personal data.
- Right to opt out — opt out of anonymized analytics collection.

Children's Privacy
Milo is not intended for use by children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If we become aware that we have collected personal data from a child under 13, we will take steps to delete that information promptly. We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will notify you through the App and update the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. We encourage you to review this policy periodically. Your continued use of Milo after any changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
